Commentary — From the Margins

How “Young” Was Jesus

During His Earthy Ministry

____________

Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him." Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and spirit [pneumatos], he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit [pneumatos] spirit [pneuma] is. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind [pneuma] blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the spirit [pneumatos]." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can these things be?" Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? (John 3:1–12 emphasis added)

1.

Understanding being born again, being born a second time that is also being born from above—the Greek phrase translated as <born again> carries both meanings—is not spiritual understanding, but human understanding, what Nicodemus should have had to be a teacher of Israel … understanding that the “breath” of God [pneuma Theou] descending in the visible form of a dove and entering into [eis — from Mark 1:10] the man Jesus the Nazarene gave to Jesus a second breath of life, a breath of life that came from heaven, a breath of life that brought to life Jesus’ inner self, His soul or psuche, is NOT spiritual understanding, but human understanding of the sort every teacher of Israel should have. Understanding that a second birth occurs when a human person receives the spirit/breath of God [again, pneuma Theou], a birth that gives heavenly or eternal life to the inner self of the person is again human understanding within the category of what an intelligent person can understand. This is understanding that can simply come from reading John’s Gospel without the person necessarily being born from above and thereby receiving a living soul that shall not die because its life [breath of life] has come from heaven and is of heaven and is in heaven.

For far too long, human understanding of the things of God has passed itself off as spiritual understanding … in every human classroom, there are dullards who have abilities in disciplines other than academic studies, and there are brilliant students who excel in academic studies, and there are the majority of students who fit somewhere in-between. So it is with human understanding of the things of God, with the dullards having a proclivity for gravitating into Christian ministry and with the middle losing their faith in graduate school studies of historical Christianity and with the brilliant becoming agnostic graduate school lecturers.

Again, to understand that Jesus was humanly born with no living inner self, that the difference between Jesus and His peers was that His Father was not the of first Adam but was the God of Abraham, that Jesus was not humanly born consigned to disobedience as a son of disobedience but was born free to keep the Commandments is to have human understanding, not spiritual understanding.

Again, to understand that Jesus received a second breath of life, a breath of life analogous to the breath of life that the first Adam received when Elohim [singular in usage] breathed into the nostrils of the man of mud is to have human understanding. To understand that receipt of this second breath of life brought to life the inner self, the soul of Jesus, in a manner analogous to the naked Adam receiving life outside the Garden of Eden—life before any other thing had life; life before there were plants or animals—is to have human understanding that any intelligent person can have … my brother, Ken, without being born of spirit, could understand these things. To understand that the breath of God [pneuma Theou] entered into the breath of Christ Jesus [pneuma Christou] thereby giving life to the inner self of Christ Jesus as a human man enters his wife to give life to an ovum in the woman’s womb is to understand how Jesus’ living inner self became the First of the firstborn sons of God, with this model forming the fractal image of divine procreation—and this is still human understanding of the things of God, understanding that every teacher of Israel should have before the teacher opens his or her mouth to say anything. And to understand that in a human female’s womb are many potentially viable ova is to understand that every human person carries within him or herself the potential of becoming a son of God through the indwelling of Christ Jesus, with this indwelling coming in the form of the breath of God being in the breath of Christ which then gives birth to the breath/pneuma of the person that in turn gives life to the soul/psuche of the person, the invisible non-tangible inner self of the person. And even this understanding is human understanding.

Truly, it is the dullards that fill pulpits and stand behind podiums and pose as Christian shepherds and make Nicodemus appear brilliant; for when the man Jesus initially received the breath of God [pneuma Theou] that entered into His breath [pneuma Christou] and thereby gave life to His inner self, the inner self of Jesus was a spiritual new born … the living inner self of the man Jesus was spiritually as Adam was physically when Adam was created: a mature man with no history, no knowledge, no understanding of who he was or where he was, with all of these things coming rather quickly but not instantaneously; for Adam would not have added to the words of the Lord, telling Eve not to touch the tree, if Adam had been born with even human understanding—and he certainly would never have eaten forbidden fruit if he had understood that his obedience “garmented” both himself and his wife who was “one” with him.

Adam formed the visible shadow of the living inner self of the last Adam, the living inner self of the man Jesus, with those souls [psuchas] that now sleep under the heavenly altar forming the last Eve, with this last Eve to deliver three sons beginning with the Second Passover liberation of Israel: a spiritual Abel, born when every Christian is filled with spirit and thereby liberated from indwelling sin and death. The birth of Abel will be followed 220 days later by the birth of a spiritual Cain when the great Apostasy occurs and the man of perdition declares himself God, thereby revealing himself within greater Christendom—actually, the man of perdition will reveal himself when he announces that the angel inside him is the “angel” who appeared to Moses in the burning bush (Ex 3:2), with this “angel” being the “intermediary” of which Paul wrote (Gal 3:19), the understanding being that this “angel’ is the God of Abraham. But the man of perdition, an Arian Christian, will lie. The angel inside him will be Satan the devil: the man of perdition will be possessed by the Adversary. And this man of perdition will seek to unify Christendom with black rifles rather than the sword. He will seem to be successful, for Arian ideology will prevail over Trinitarian Christendom through the mass conversion of Islam to Arian Christendom … what I have just written comes from having spiritual understanding rather than human understanding. And the many, many Christians who rally to this man of perdition will form spiritual Cain and will seek to kill Christians who keep the Sabbath and have the testimony of Jesus. They will kill all but this remnant of Sabbatarian Christendom; they will martyr even those Arian Christians who are Sabbatarians.

(It is the dullest of the dullards who brandish about as their sword the Sacred Names Heresy.)

Finally, when the single kingdom of this world is taken from the Adversary and his angels and given to the Son of Man on the double day 1260 of the seven endtime years, the remaining third part of humanity will be baptized-in and filled with spirit and will be born as spiritual Seth. This third part of humanity only has to endure to the end to be saved (Matt 10:22; 24:13), but enduring will mean not taking upon themselves the mark of the beast, the tattoo of the cross, the mark of Death.

The division between human understanding of the things of God, the mysteries, and spiritual understanding by spiritual newborns—spiritual infants—is not a hard line, but a morphing of understanding. While human understanding holds that a man and his wife are analogous to (reveals visibly) God and His Beloved, to understand that in this Christian era, the breath of God [pneuma Theou] in [en] the breath of Christ [pneuma Christou] equates to the act of human procreation—that period of time when the husband enters and is in his wife—is to straddle where morphing occurs; for obviously, a husband does not spend all day in his wife: he enters his wife (usually) in the dark portion of the night preceding the midnight hour. And so it has been for God and His Beloved … beginning shortly before darkness [the absence of the Beloved from His creation], about when Jesus was thirty years of age, God through His breath/spirit entered into the newly baptized man Jesus of Nazareth, the Beloved of God (see Matt 3:17; Mark 1:11 in Greek—English translations fail to account for the definite article preceding Beloved, and transform a noun into an adjective), and then, after Calvary and after the Father resurrected the body of the man Jesus from death, thereby transforming what was perishable flesh into imperishable spirit, the glorified Beloved, a life-giving spirit [pneuma] (1 Cor 15:45), the breath of the Father in the breath of Christ created the last Eve, the Body of Christ, when Jesus “breathed” on ten of His disciples and said, Receive the breath holy [pneuma ’agion] (John 20:22). And it is from these ten that spiritual Abel, Cain, and Seth will come when life is returned to the Body of Christ, the second and last Woman whose Head is Christ Jesus as the inner self [soul] of a person is the head of the fleshly body of the person—and a spiritual “dead” inner self equates to a spiritually dead person for there is no good in the flesh, presently consigned to disobedience and death.

When Jesus rose from baptism and the breath of God descended upon Him and entered into Him in the bodily form of a dove, Jesus became spiritually what Adam was physically when Elohim breathed into the breath of life into the nostrils of the man of mud. The inner self of Jesus was as Adam was outside of the Garden, with the walls of the Garden Tomb representing the boundaries of the Garden of Eden. Once Jesus entered the temple where He taught, He became as Adam was inside the Garden—and in the created beasts within the Garden, no helpmate was found for Adam. No Helpmate was found for Jesus among Sadducees and Pharisees, the spiritual beasts of Eden, the Garden of God. Hence, a Helpmate for the second Adam had to be created from the second Adam. And this is when the glorified Jesus breathed His breath onto the Ten who were gathered together on the afternoon of the Wave Sheaf Offering.

The preceding is still human understanding, not spiritual understanding; for all of the preceding can be ascertained from Matthew’s Gospel and from John’s Gospel, with John’s Gospel being analogous to John the Baptist’s ministry.

Does a human infant still on milk understand the difference between milk and meat? No, the infant does not. And spiritual infants on milk do not understand the difference between spiritual milk and spiritual meat. But, now, backing up to pre-birth: does a human fetus in the womb of his or her mother know what “milk” is? No, the fetus does not even though the fetus “hears’ music and hears the heartbeat of the mother and feels pain and struggles to escape from the saline solution used to abort the fetus—yes, this is true. A fetus seeks to protect itself when the mother becomes the enemy of the fetus and is determined to murder the fetus.

What sort of mother has the greater Christian Church proved to be in the past 1900 years? She certainly hasn’t been the last Eve; she certainly hasn’t given birth to righteousness. Rather, she has brought forth persecution of Sabbatarians, Christians and Jews, as well as ignorance and savagery and a theological oligarchy that drove my Anabaptist ancestors from Europe. She has been a murderer of her children and of her neighbor’s children—and her legacy will be the rebellion of greater Christendom in the Apostasy of day 220, a rebellion against God that will separate sheep from goats, sheep from wolves, and sheep from a roaring lion determined to kill more than he can devour.

The first Adam was not innocent when he ate forbidden fruit: he knew what he was doing, but he choose to believe his eyes rather than the Lord when he saw Eve eat and not die … why did he not stop Eve from eating? He was beside her. Did he not care enough about her to actively intervene, or did he also believe the serpent, doubting God even before he ate?

Again, Adam forms the physical shadow and copy [the left hand enantiomer] of the last Adam, who believed God, but who had to test His belief in the matter of calling forth Lazarus from death. Yes, Jesus believed God, but also yes, Jesus had to test what He believed as a child has to test what the child believes is true … the first Adam had the body of a man but the mind of a child when he was placed in the Garden of Eden. The last Adam would have had the mind of God but the faith of a youthful Son of God when He was placed in the temple. As such, the last Adam was as David was when David slew Goliath, with the “Goliath” that Jesus slew being death itself. Yes, He waited to go to Lazarus until He knew that Lazarus was dead; for He needed to engage death/Death and defeat this demonic king that was represented by the cross. Yes, He believed that He could defeat death, with His belief being counted to Him as righteousness. But as Abraham’s belief in the manner of his offspring coming from his loins was tested at Jerusalem [the site of Mt. Moriah — see 2 Chron 3:1], Jesus’ belief/faith [pisteos] was also tested at Jerusalem; for Jesus was also the spiritual reality that cast as His shadow the man Abraham so that all who are Christ’s are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise (Gal 3:29).

Scripture is composed in Hebrew style narration that has the beginning of a matter revealing the end of the matter, with Scripture itself being the beginning of the matter or the visible book that reveals the invisible inscription of God. Thus, what is written in Scripture serves as a metaphor for what will happen spiritually. What is written in Scripture reveals via human understanding what will occur in the future and what will occur in the invisible supra-dimensional heavenly realm. No spiritual understanding is needed to comprehend those things that Scripture reveals; rather, all that is needed is high-order human understanding … most of what I have written over the past twelve years (from January 17th, 2002, to the present) comes from being called to reread prophecy and having an above-dullard human understanding of the mysteries of God; for spiritual understanding of the mysteries of God is not written in Scripture, a point claimed by the Roman Church for centuries. However, because of its lawlessness—its culture of sin—the Roman Church has never understood the spiritual (or even the physical) things of God.

If a Christian pastor or theologian only repeats what has already been written in Scripture, the pastor, teacher, theologian has only human understanding of the mysteries of God, assuming that evidence of human understanding is present and the teacher or theologian isn’t as Nicodemus was when he asked about entering the womb a second time. If the teacher or theologian would have the disciple deliberately transgress the Law because the disciple is under grace [Christ Jesus’ righteousness], the teacher or theologian is a spiritual murderer. This teacher or theologian is an agent of the Adversary, who has been a murderer from the beginning, and this teacher or theologian will be denied by Christ when judgments are revealed (Matt 7:23).

Jesus was a spiritual youth when He defeated the Adversary. He was still a youth when He defeated Death. Again, He was spiritually as David was physically when David went against Goliath, not armed with Goliath’s weaponry but with superior technology, the ability to kill from a distance. And the two endtime witnesses will use superior technology (the word used allegorically) to kill from a distance, to shut heavens and turn waters into blood and to call into existence plagues: these two witnesses will be spiritual youths, not old men, when they go against the demonic false prophet and the man of perdition, an Arian possessed by the Adversary. They will again engage in a David versus Goliath contest, with the outcome decided by the defeat of Death, the fourth horseman, when these two witnesses are called forth from death as Jesus called His friend Lazarus forth.

The human understanding of the mysteries of God that Jesus expected Nicodemus to have is not the simplistic expectation that disciples keep the Commandments. Even dullards understand as much. But understanding that receipt of the breath of God gives to the person a second birth, a second breath of life, a second life that has come from heaven and that must be kept in a vessel that has also come from heaven. So when a Sabbatarian ministry denies that its adherents are born of spirit—that to be born of spirit, the disciple must pass the infamous pin test of not bleeding when stuck with a pin—the ministry falls below even spiritual dullards … in such a ministry or under such an umbrella of ministries is where much of Sabbatarian Christendom lingers today, and that is a shame coming directly from a pastor being called to kill a work of God, and disciples in that work not recognizing that they are truly dead spiritually.

Again, as the first Adam had a man’s body and a child’s mind, the last Adam had the mind of God and the faith of a child during His earthly ministry. It was as a spiritual child that He defeated the Adversary. It is as spiritual children that endtime sons of God will also defeat the Adversary. And never permit human understanding of the mysteries of God to be confused with spiritual understanding; for if the understanding comes from Scripture, it is human understanding. If the understanding comes via the Parakletos, the understanding is from God—and if the understanding comes via the Parakletos, most likely there will be no paper trail leading to this understanding unless the person having the understanding blazed that trail.
