Commentary — From the Margins

Redeem Your House

____________

Possession of knowledge has historically been a privilege afforded to the few. When only twenty-five percent of Americans were formally educated, the level of education was high: in the 18th-Century, eighth grade students knew about the subjects studied that college students know today. Allegedly, the English poet Percy Shelly with only grade school Latin knew the language as well as a person today with a Ph.D. in the language knows it. The mountain man, Joe Meeks, without a Bible and without any scholarship other than having been reared in a Christian fellowship taught Scripture to the Nez Perce in exchange for a third wife (his first wife had been killed in raid by a hostile tribe and his second had run off), and taught the Nez Perce well enough that the Whitmans as missionaries did not need to teach these peoples basic Christian dogmas.

But as the cultural level of education rises—as a greater percentage of the population receives formal education—the overall knowledge base for those who are educated declines in a manner analogous to a body of water producing a finite number of pounds of protein in a growing season without regard to the distribution of that growth; thus in a catfish pond, if all of the protein grown in that pond comes in catfish, than the pond owner has the entire potential of the pond available for sale as harvested catfish. But if the pond also contains crawdads and snails and frogs, then the potential of the pond is distributed over the entire spectrum of the animals living in the pond and far fewer pounds of catfish are available to the pond owner for harvesting, with this modeling holding for even large bodies of water such as the Gulf of Alaska and the Bering Sea.

More money for public education will not solve a problem that isn’t rooted in a lack of knowledge, but in the distribution of knowledge in the public arena; for the solution to failing public schools isn’t better facilities or even better teachers—it certainly isn’t in spending more money—but the solution lies in public schools educating fewer students and far more students acquiring their basic education at home or in private spaces such as the church. Public education probably shouldn’t begin until students are nearing puberty, a subjective opinion based on having homeschooled my own children. Public education should never be used as taxpayer-supported daycare for toddlers and adolescents as it has become; for when much isn’t demanded from students as in daycare, not much is received. … Has too much of the school day in public schools become an educational wasteland? That was the case fifty years ago when I and my brothers and sisters were in school: I did 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in one year. My brother Ben did 5th and 6th grades during the same year. My brother Ken did 3rd and 4th grades that year. My sister Caroleah did 2nd and 3rd grades, and my sister Marie, then only five years old, did all of 1st-grade. If the academic course work would have been truly appropriate for the grade, then it would have taken a school year to do one grade. As it was, my own children, two of whom have graduate degrees and the third has a B.S. degree in Chemistry, began their week’s worth of schoolwork on Friday morning, and would (with very few exceptions) post their week’s worth of schoolwork Friday afternoon, with their lessons going to Juneau [they were on State of Alaska Correspondence Study] where they would be graded and returned. The amount of coursework represented by their correspondence course was identical to the coursework of public schools, suggesting that the public school system wasted three to four days of every school week in having students do busy work so as to keep students occupied while they were at school.

But to have more of children’s basic education coming from home instruction or from instruction in private spaces would require a revamping of American culture and a restructuring of America’s financial system in ways not currently possible. The world as Americans know it is structured around buying and selling; i.e., based on commerce. But in any culture based upon transactions, tensions will always exist between income acquisition and necessary expenditures, with these tensions producing periodic collapses that reset societal relationships. There will be winners and losers: the poor will always be present although the faces of the poor will occasionally change.

It is ironic that in a nation that professes to believe in freedom, most Americans have voluntarily enslaved themselves with debt that they cannot pay off, debt that they will pass on to their children and grandchildren—both public and private debt. Americans have, unwittingly, made themselves and their children slaves, and no foreign nation had to set foot on American soil to accomplish this enslaving of a once proud and once free people … Chief Joseph didn’t avow revenge upon the people who enslaved the Nez Perce, but his descendants now have their revenge upon those who enslaved him and wouldn’t permit him to remain on the traditional lands of the Nez Perce. He would fight no more. He didn’t need-to. Once Joe Meeks taught the principles of Christ Jesus to the Nez Perce, Meeks set in place divine retribution: God would defend the weak and punish the wicked, but at His pleasure. And as with the defeat of the Nez Perce when a few young bucks escaped to Canada where they remained semi-free, a few young bucks, modern American patriots led by Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin and accompanied by ideological relics such as Michael Alan Weiner (aka Michael Savage) have escaped fiscal enslavement to remain semi-free on the margins of society.

Glenn Beck as a television commentator stands in front of cameras and reflects on semi-dressed bloggers in their mother’s basement hastily typing messages about what the commentator has said … well, my mother committed suicide in 1963, before Beck was born and before his own mother committed suicide—and I don’t write a blog, but I do write Christian eschatological commentary. And in a calling similar to the Apostle Paul’s calling, I was called by God to do so, a claim from which I do not shy away and for which I do not apologize.

While I have regularly watched Glenn Beck since he relocated to a network I watch [Fox], and while I find that this commentator has little understanding of Scripture despite his sincere desire to preserve the United States of America as the republic its founders established, and while I find this commentator is aware that irreversible global changes are occurring, and while I am aware that this commentator employs a staff of researchers, I find that Beck’s understanding of biblical eschatology is on par with the mathematical skills publicly educated grade school students have.

So, to you Glenn Beck, I address this commentary—

There will be global chaos of a sort that you presently cannot imagine, but this chaos will not come via activities of the Moslem Brotherhood or social activists. There will be a washing of the world in blood, but this washing will not involve George Soros or anyone you are watching … in moving from physical things to spiritual, an ancient enslaved Israelite dwelling in a house in Egypt is analogous to the living inner self, born of spirit [pneuma Theon] as a firstborn son of God, dwelling in a tent of flesh—an Israelite in Egypt equates to a born of God Christian today. And because you believe Latter Day Saint dogma, which purports that inside you is an angel, you do not realize that every person humanly born is born with a dead inner self, the reason Jesus said to permit the dead to bury the dead of themselves (Matt 8:22), and that this inner self will remain dead until the person receives a second breath of life, the breath of God [pneuma Theon in Roman characters]. You do well in believing that human beings are not born with immortal souls, but less well in believing that the life inside you is an angel; for this belief allows you to succumb to the Adversary’s lie that the angel inside you is Christ, for it isn’t George Washington for whom you look but Christ.

The Apostle Paul said that the visible things of this world—those things that you now watch—reveal the invisible things of God (Rom 1:20), and that the physical things of this world precede the spiritual things of God (1 Cor 15:46).

In moving from physical to spiritual, the Passover liberation of Israel from physical slavery to Pharaoh—the Exodus—is today the most remembered event in natural Israel’s history, but the Second Passover liberation of Israel, the nation circumcised of heart, will cause the Exodus to be forgotten (Jer 16:14–15; 23:7–8). For this Second Passover liberation of Israel from slavery to indwelling sin and death will be the reality revealed by the visible things of this world; for this Second Passover liberation of Israel will occur on the second Passover, and in moving from physical to spiritual, Egyptians and their livestock in Egypt equate to Christians not today born of spirit [Egyptians] and the remainder of humankind [the livestock of Egypt], with Israel in Egypt equating to angelic sons of God in the Abyss and to human sons of God [Christians truly born of spirit] around the world. And as every firstborn of Egyptians and of their livestock was slain at the first Passover, every firstborn uncovered Christian and non-Christian will be supernaturally slain by the Lord at The Second Passover liberation of Israel.

Moses gave to Israel the Passover ordinances, which had Israel sacrificing a selected and penned lamb of the first year, a male without blemish, selected on the 10th day of the first month and sacrificed at even on the 14th day, with Israel not leaving its houses until dawn (on the 14th day). Israel then gathered their flocks and spoiled the Egyptians and left Egypt at even at the end of the 14th, the hour when Christ Jesus, the selected paschal Lamb of God, was placed in the Garden Tomb. Therefore, Israel was to remember as a celebration the 15th day of the first month, the great Sabbath of the Sabbath (see John 19:31 in Greek) that is the seven days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread when Israel was to eat the bread of affliction, unleavened bread, with leavening representing sin. Israel will live in affliction and without sin for seven endtime years.

The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a High Sabbath of God—is the day representing when Israel left Egypt—and the seventh day is a High Sabbath, with this seventh day now representing when Christ Jesus will return as Lord of lords and King of kings. And the entirety of the Christian era when disciples dwell in grace is represented by the first Unleavened (see Matt 26:17 and read the verse in Greek), the day on which Israel in Egypt roasted with fire and ate the Passover lamb, then spoiled the Egyptians. The reality of this first Unleavened ends with the Second Passover liberation of Israel when the Son of Man is revealed (Luke 17:30), disrobed through the stripping away of the garment of Christ Jesus’ righteousness.

A Christian covers himself by taking the Passover sacraments of bread and wine on the dark portion of the 14th of Aviv, which this year will be the evening before April 18th. If the Christian misses this date because he or she is spiritually unclean—a nonbeliever—or on a long journey, then the Christian can take the Passover sacraments of bread and wine one month later on the evening preceding the 18th of May … if the Second Passover liberation of Israel were to occur this year, and that possibility is high, then between the 15th and the 17th of Iyyar (May 19th and 21st) God will slay by supernatural means 2.3 billion human beings, the number of firstborns that will not have covered themselves by taking the Passover sacraments. And because only natural and legal firstborns will be slain, this catastrophe will be recognized worldwide as an act of God … everything changes on the day of the Second Passover just as everything changed in Egypt on the day of the first Passover.

Evidence will affirm or erase existing belief paradigms … the plagues of the Lord, especially the tenth plague, erased but-not-completely the belief paradigms of Israel in Egypt and of a great many Egyptians. The Lord had to harden Pharaoh’s heart to keep Pharaoh from letting Israel go early; for the first Passover had to occur as the shadow and type [the left hand enantiomer] of the Second Passover liberation of Israel. And following the Second Passover, the world’s belief paradigms will be erased.

But as the belief paradigms of ancient Israelites under Moses were not completely erased, Christian lawlessness will cause the majority of Christians to rebel against God in the Apostasy, the great falling away of 2 Thessalonians 2:3. And unfortunately, you will either lead or actively participate in this rebellion against God; for rebellion against God in the Affliction will come through mingling the sacred [Christ] with the profane [the day of the invincible sun; the birthday of the invincible sun].

The great falling away occurs on day 220 of the Affliction … if the Second Passover liberation of Israel were to occur this year [May 19th], then the Apostasy would occur on Sunday, December 25th, and would occur because Christians will refuse to cease mingling Christ with this pagan holiday.

As a Latter Day Saint, you know that Jesus was not born on December 25th, but you have a close emotional connection to this holiday, a connection that will, most likely, cause you to keep the holiday regardless of the consequences, and the consequences to you will cause the thing you fear most, loss of your salvation.

The seven endtime years are divided into two 1260 day divisions, the Affliction when Satan remains the prince of this world, and the Endurance when the single kingdom of this world has been given to the Son of Man even though Christ will not return until the seven endtime years are complete. This division reflects the division of the Feast of Unleavened Bread in 31 CE, the year when Jesus was crucified (rabbinical Judaism’s calendar, when working backwards, is off a month for the year 31 CE — Judaism’s calendar date of the 15th of Iyyar was actually the 15th of Aviv in 31 CE).

In summary, Jesus said He would give one sign that He was of heaven, the sign of Jonah, that as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish [the whale], the Son of Man would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. If Jesus is believed, and since Jesus was resurrected and gone from the tomb on the day after the Sabbath (the wording used in the Gospels), then Jesus was in the tomb all of the 15th of Aviv, all of the 16th, and all of the 17th, making the 18th of Aviv, Sunday, April 29th on the Julian calendar. Jesus would have been crucified on the 14th of Aviv, Wednesday, April 25th Julian, and Jesus would have entered Jerusalem on the Sabbath, the 10th day of Aviv, the day that the paschal lamb was selected and penned.

This year, 2011, the Second Passover will fall on Thursday, May 19th, the 15th day of Iyyar.

In 31 CE, with the Feast of Unleavened Bread beginning on Thursday, the 15th day of Iyyar on rabbinical Judaism’s calendar, the middle day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread would have been Sunday, the 18th day of the month.

Although the alignment of day to date—the 15th of Aviv falling on Thursday—repeats itself every few years, the alignment of the same day to date for the Second Passover doesn’t seem coincidental when the day to date alignment includes the Apostasy that comes 220 days later (2520 days minus 2300) aligning with Christmas. The Apostasy marks the opening of the Fifth Seal (Rev 6:9–11). The opening of the Sixth Seal (vv. 12–17) occurs on the December solstice of 2012. And Satan and his angels would be cast from heaven and come to earth on Halloween 2014. And this particular set of day to dates only represents a portion of the coincidences that would occur if the Second Passover were to occur this year, beginning on May 19th.

Glenn, if you truly love your son, you will take the Passover sacraments on the dark portion of the 14th of Aviv, which is, this year, the evening of April 17th/18th — or you will lose your son as an uncovered firstborn. Your choice. For your son is a firstborn that belongs to God and that must be redeemed, or God can do with your son whatever He pleases, with you having no recourse in the matter.

It is easy not to believe what I write; it is easy to dismiss my words as you would those of an angry blogger. But to dismiss my words will, on the year of the Second Passover, cost your son his life, and will—because of your anger against God for having taken your son—cost you your salvation, for your anger will allow you to be possessed by the Adversary and do what you cannot right now imagine yourself doing …

The antichrist isn’t one individual: in the Affliction, the first 1260 days of the seven endtime years, the man of perdition is a human being possessed by the Adversary, with your public visibility and lack of spiritual understanding making you a reasonable candidate for possession. In the Endurance, the last 1260 days when the kingdom of this world has been given to the Son of Man, the true Antichrist is Satan the devil cast to earth and given the mind of a man.

The present prince of this world is the spiritual king of Babylon (Isa 14:4), with the ancient Babylonian Empire representing the shadow and type of spiritual Babylon, the single kingdom of this world. Those things that Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar about ruling the children of men wherever they dwelt wasn’t true of Nebuchadnezzar, who never ruled anyone in Chile or China, but is true of the Adversary who as the prince of the power of the air rules the sons of disobedience everywhere. Thus, when Nebuchadnezzar had his reason [his human nature] taken from him for seven years, Nebuchadnezzar created the shadow and type of the Adversary being cast from heaven and given the mind of a man, with the seven years representing the Endurance (three and a half year) and the short while after the thousand years (Rev 20:7).

The messages you deliver would be admirable if you were not so utterly lacking in spiritual understanding. Nevertheless, you do better than anyone else with the sort of public visibility you have.

It isn’t time for the work that I do to become common knowledge, for the seven endtime years must come upon humankind as the Flood of Noah’s day came upon his neighbors … Noah boarded the Ark on the 10th day of the second month, the day when the paschal lamb for the second Passover is selected and penned, and the foundations of the deep erupted on the 17th day of the second month. However, everything I have written is on-line and can be found on various websites. Your researchers can find them, and can find more biographical information about me if you are inclined to look.

Because Scripture is so poorly taught by the churches of America and of the Western world, Christians know as little about God and about Scripture as inner city kids know about English and Math. You are no exception. And your desire to learn has actually worked against you, but how it has worked against you will be for you to discover.

For the sake of your son, take the Passover sacraments after the example Jesus left with His disciples, not in any other manner, and this isn’t telling you to do anything that isn’t in Scripture. If you don’t know how, instructions are on my website.

Again, the world will experience chaos on an order unimagined by anyone, and the world will be washed in blood: two parts of humankind will be slain, and the third part (from Zech 13:7–9) will enter into God’s rest. This will have nearly five billion people being slain over seven years.

Now, more of moving from physical to spiritual: an ancient Israelite dwelling in a skin or fabric tent in the wilderness is analogous to a Christian filled-with and empowered by spirit in the Affliction, the first 1260 days of the seven endtime years of tribulation. The forty years that Israel and the children of Israel trekked through the wilderness are analogous to the seven endtime years, with the children of Israel crossing the Jordan and entering into the Promised Land being analogous to when the third part of humanity (from Zech 13:9) is glorified.

In the wilderness of Paran, the Israelites numbered in the census of the second year that rebelled against the Lord by wanting to return to Egypt and by being willing to stone Moses and Aaron, Joshua and Caleb so that they could choose for themselves [as an expression of democracy] new leaders to take them back to Egypt—the Israelites who, because of their unbelief on a particular day, could not enter into the Promised Land are analogous to greater Christendom in the Apostasy of day 220 of the Affliction (2 Thess 2:3), when Christendom listens to ten witnesses affirming Sunday worship and the observance of Christmas, with Christmas falling on Sunday being for them the two witnesses [signs] necessary to affirm existing Christian belief paradigms that had been badly shaken by having the Torah written on hearts and placed in minds.

In moving from physical to spiritual, the children of Israel, circumcised and uncircumcised, who followed Joshua [in Greek, Iesous— Jesus, from Acts 7:45] into the Promised Land are analogous to the third part of humankind (from Zech 13:9) that will be born of God, and born filled-will and empowered by spirit when the Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh (Joel 2:28). This third part only has to endure to the end to be saved (Matt 24:13); i.e., endure in faith for the 1260 days of the Endurance, the last 1260 days before Christ Jesus returns as King of kings and Lord of lords.

When the children of Israel entered the Promised Land, crossing the Jordan on the 10th day of the first month (Josh 4:19) as the selected paschal lamb of the Lord, the children of Israel became the sacrifice of the Lord, the sacrifice that would be killed by the Law if the children of Israel did not pass from death to life by boarding the Ark of the Covenant, of which Noah’s Ark was a type—

In moving from physical to spiritual, Noah’s Ark was analogous to the Ark of the Covenant, with the jar of manna in the Ark of the Covenant being analogous to the indwelling of Christ, the true bread from heaven, in a disciple, thereby establishing the metaphor that the fleshly body of a disciple is like Noah’s Ark, in that the fleshly body of a disciple carries the living inner self across death [represented by baptism] and unto life, with the disciple’s fleshly body disappearing when the mortal flesh puts on immortality as Noah’s Ark disappeared from public view.

In moving from physical to spiritual, the two tablets of stone on which the Lord wrote the ten living words (the Ten Commandments) are analogous to the two tablets of flesh—the heart and the mind—upon which the Lord will write the Torah following the Second Passover liberation of Israel, the nation circumcised of heart, with the Passover that occurred in Egypt being the dark, physical shadow of the endtime Second Passover liberation of Israel.

In moving from physical to spiritual, slavery (the enslavement of the person) in Egypt is analogous to the state of the Christian’s living inner self when the Christian desires to do what is right and good but lacks the ability to do what is good, doing instead the very things that the Christian hates (Rom 7:15–18); therefore, when the Lord delivered first the house of Israel into the hand of the Assyrians and then the house of Judah into the hand of the Chaldeans, returning both houses of Israel to slavery, the Lord created the dark shadow and type [the left hand enantiomer] of God sending upon Christians liberated from indwelling sin and death “a strong delusion so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thess 2:11–12).

The availability of printed Bibles has actually worked against today’s Christians reading the Bible and having knowledge of what it says. The availability of local churches where American Christians can worship without any real commitment to God has worked against Christians understanding Scripture. In a general softening of the culture, Christian belief has gotten sloppy, with the culture’s mores reflective of its commitment to God —

In 2001, having relocated from where I had dwelt in Southeast Idaho for nine years to southern Illinois, I was teaching English Composition at Paducah Community College, Paducah, Kentucky, when a student in the front row unexpectedly asked if I thought Mormons were Christians (the student was a devout Roman Catholic). Without thinking I said, “Southern Baptists don’t believe that Mormons are Christians, but then, the Apostle Paul wouldn’t recognize a Southern Baptist as a Christian.” And I knew that I had explaining to do; for also in the front row was a Southern Baptist pastor’s wife. So I told of having come down from Alaska in 1991, buying an older house in McCammon, Idaho, and unintentionally leaving an open tool box on the tailgate of my pickup the first night I was in the house. Nothing was stolen although my heart sank when I got up in the morning and saw where I had left the toolbox. I asked the class if an open toolbox could be left on a pickup tailgate in Paducah without anything being stolen, and the consensus of the class was, no, everything would be stolen. I then asked which community better represented Christian ideals. The agreed upon answer was McCammon which was then, by percentage, 93% Mormon, with 91% of the community in services every week.
